How guests find you
Search, the nearby map and the feeds that carry a published event, plus what the public and private switch actually changes.
Ritmus has no guest invitation list. There is nothing to import and no addresses to collect. An event travels as a link, and three things help it along.
Search
People, organizations and events in one box, matched on the beginning of a name. Only published events are searchable.
The home feed
Following collects upcoming events from the organizers someone follows, their own answers, and the events those organizers are going to. Nearby is a geographic query with a clustered map that re-runs as the camera settles.
Profiles
Your own page and your organization page both list the events you are running.

The public and private switch decides how much of that applies. A private event is not hidden and not password-protected: its link works exactly the same for anyone holding it. It simply stays out of search and off the map. Unlisted, not secret.
