What is an event?

The core object in Ritmus — a live session with a lifecycle and phases.

An event is a single live session you run for a crowd. It holds your schedule, venue, the content shown on attendee screens, and the settings that control how people join.

Lifecycle

  • Draft — you're still configuring it; not visible to attendees.
  • Published — it's live (or scheduled) and attendees can join during the event window.
  • Ended / Cancelled — the event is over or was called off.

Phases

  • Before — the Intro experience while attendees wait.
  • During — the live phase where you drive the screens.
  • After — the Outro experience once the event ends.

Event types

Concert, festival, theater, dance, nightlife, sports, celebration, wedding, or other. The type helps describe your event and tailor the public page.
