Terms of Use

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Ritmus platform and services.

Last Updated: June 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Ritmus platform ("Platform", "Service", or "Ritmus"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date.

2. User Accounts

Attendees can join a live event for free using its link. To access organizer features (such as creating events, managing organizations, or purchasing a plan), you must register for an account. When you create an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • All registration information you submit is truthful, accurate, and complete.
  • You will maintain the security of your password and credentials.
  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

You are solely responsible for any and all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading or posting fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our servers, user database, or source code.
  • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect data from the Platform without permission.
  • Broadcasting media or content to attendees that you do not own or have the rights to display, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Artificially inflating participant counts or otherwise abusing capacity limits.
  • Impersonating another person or entity.

4. Billing & Payments

Joining a live event as an attendee is always free. Organizers pay only for the number of participants they reach, through our paid plans. Please note that:

  • Plans & credits: Capacity is measured in participant credits (one credit per attendee). You can start free with the Spark plan, buy a one-time pack for a single event, or subscribe to a monthly plan with a shared credit pool. One-time packs apply to a single event and do not expire; monthly subscriptions recur until cancelled.
  • Payment processing: Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider (Dodo Payments). We do not store your full card details. Applicable taxes and fees are shown before you confirm a purchase.
  • Renewals & cancellation: Monthly plans renew automatically each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Refunds: Unless required by law, fees for consumed credits and elapsed subscription periods are non-refundable. Unused one-time credit packs may be eligible for review on request.

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, logos, designs, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ritmus and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

By uploading event images, descriptions, or content, you grant Ritmus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to display and distribute that content to facilitate the Platform services.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ritmus, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey and EU guidelines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
